Jim Edgar took possession of his first real drum set at the age of fifteen and has been playing drums ever since.
He has worked and toured extensively with a wide range of bands and musicians across all musical genres. Although his first love is rock music, he has also played jazz, folk, pop, classical, cabaret and country and western.
Jim prefers the 'buzz' of live gigging and touring but he has also done studio session work and tours of duty in resident house bands, where he has worked with some of the leading artists on the cabaret circuit.
Jim still enjoys performing and has recently joined Mason Wrightson for studio sessions where he lends his expertise in percussion and also features on a range of compositions.
